What keyword tools I recommend and why.

If you have been marketing online for any length of time you realize that finding the keywords that people actually use the most when searching for the type of products that you sell is paramount to making money.

Sounds simple right?

  Yeah and it would be if only you and a few other online marketer realized this. But of course that is not the case.

So a whole cottage or niche industry cropped up around this subject.

The Problem how to find targeted searched for keywords that aren't already over used in the market.

The Solution software that will help you achieve this goal.

There are free keyword tools such as GoodKeywords, which help you find related words to your main keyword. A few years ago you could use tools like this and find a few "keyword gems" that would produce some decent traffic.

But today the online marketing has become so sophisticated that using a software program to achieve profitable keywords of both free search engine listings as well as finding the lowest priced keywords to use in your pay per click campaigns is essential.

Over time I have used many different software programs in my keyword research. Most of them did an adequate job in finding some decent keywords, but the draw back was the fact that no one tool would do a great job finding results for both free and PPC keywords.
